The foam is on an ebony colored beer with chestnut. The nose is characterized by sun-baked leather and toasted wood, followed by bourbon and macerated raisins. Taste is instant with warming alcohol and complex flavors of cocoa that turn into caramelized figs, ripe blackberries and walnut. Slight acid finish dominated by oak and fruity yeast notes.
