Bourbon BA Wildberry Doofus Marlobobo:
Bourbon barrel-aged bochet with six different berries, further conditioned on Ugandan vanilla beans.
Gin BA Stevnsberry (2020):
Gin barrel-aged cherry mead.
We kept some of our finished Stevnsberry blend from the 2020-vintage, and went barrel picking at Oslo Håndverksdestilleri (OHD), taking the most fragrant gin barrel we found with us back home. The barrels were previously used for their pink rosé “Fjæra”, and we let our mead rest for 12 months in it, soaking up all the nuanced notes from the gin.
A more botanical and complex take on Stevnsberry, lending it fruity and firm notes of juniper, citrus rind and oak.

Blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, bilberries, black- and red currants.
Same doofusly treatment as the other “Doofuses” with caramelized sunflower honey and extra dark maple syrup. Only here taken another step by aging it in freshly emptied Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for additional 7 months.
Giving away dark caramel, almost like a slightly salty fruit caramel, together with vanilla and maple notes in between the flavor explosion of all the jammy wildberries. Sweet, but all kept in check by a firm acidity and the wood-aging.
