Evil Twin started by brewing their famous Michigan Maple Jesus (in Massachusetts though, so maybe we should call it Massachusetts Maple Jesus). Same Recipe, same bourbon maple syrup barrels from BliS, but even longer aging- 21 month did the beer spend in the barrels soaking up flavors of wood, maple syrup and bourbon.
And they didn’t stop there. They also took some of the stout and aged it, also for 21 month, in Malaga Wine barrels (if you don’t know what that is read more here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaga_(wine)) and blended that with the Bourbon Maple Syrup barrel aged stout and the barley wine. The result is nothing short of heaven in a glass!
